Candle Bulb Bases


To these days, most US households are accustomed to the e12 bulb base or e26 bulb base since fixtures such as lamps, sconces, and decorative lights use these two bases. So, to simplify the fit this accustom, unlike their shapes have slightly different design features, candle bulbs are commonly featured with a medium e26 base or a candelabra e12 base

The letter "E" refers to the "Edison" style base and the numerical value after represents the diameter in millimeters. Are chandelier bulbs and candelabra bulbs the same?

But actually, like what does an a19 bulb and e26 bulb mean, there is in fact the key differences between these two terms. First off, let's look at the chandelier bulbs. A chandelier bulb is the bulb with the candle-like shape that is commonly used on the chandelier. On the contrary, a candelabra bulb refers to the bulb with a candelabra base ( i.e, e12 bulb base), so you can call it e12 bulb either. In a word, chandelier bulb and candelabra bulbs are completely different things and a far cry from each other.
